Templates and budgets

Template or budget: which one should you edit?

The template prepares your ordinary months. A budget stands for one specific month.

The difference in one sentence.

The template

Your starting point

It holds your usual income, expenses and savings. It’s what prepares your monthly budgets without retyping everything.

The budget

One specific month

It matches August 2026, for instance. You can adjust it for that month without changing your usual starting point.
